I Painted This

Mangrove forests are environmentally, hugely important and are a complete wonder to me.

They have high carbon storing capability, unique tolerance of high salinity tidal waters and the experience when being among them in the water matches their unique super powers. It is magic and other worldly. The trees grow fairly fast, creating new forests that are beautiful, environmentally important and are all round awe inspiring.

With alignment to the UN Sustainability Goals this piece is intended to inspire protection of mangrove forests, awareness of their significance and as a message of support for more mangrove forests to be planted.
