when i first started the hexeosis project seven years ago, i was thinking a lot about how to represent the idea of infinity visually. i thought about traveling in a space ship and looking out the front window and seeing a pattern like this, and every time you looked out you would just see this same repeating pattern. in a few days from now it's the same thing, next week, in a few years. you just keep going and you never get any closer to the end of it, it just keeps going. you could live forever, forever looking out the window of your space ship traveling through infinite space and never get to the end of it. because it is infinite.
