In this photographic and video project I decided to focus only on certain parts of the body which I "contaminated" with scratchy strokes, made of flour mixed to paint, carefully distributed to emphasize a pose, a body part, some lines or overlaps. I believe that all the themes dear to me surface in this project and some of the basic ideas in my work are carried to extremes. I was interested in discovering a dimension linked to the manual; I searched for hours for the perfect shooting pose and I tried to associate an element that could help the communication between the work and the viewer. Thanks to increased reality and to a smart phone free application, namely ARTScan (available for iOS and Android), which I planned and made, the images that make up the project, if seen through a device, come to life and become part of an animation that tells something more than what can be seen with the naked eye. My intention was not to show the potential of technology applied to artistic production nor to create a great emotional impact; I just wanted to study better and more accurately the interaction between the viewer and the work of art. These "Contamination" of mine prevail, by means of the video, the temporary observer and make him interact "unknowingly" with an object, for definition "inanimate", such as photography, till he becomes part of the work itself.
