THIS IS AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL INDEPENDENT ARTISTS

I almost fell for a scam, but I also lost out. Well, I wanted to share with you something very sensitive that happened this morning, January 17, 2024. Since last week, a person started talking to me and asking me about my works and the ways I make my art. I was very happy to have someone interested in my work and curious about the ways I compose, so I've always been very polite and kind when talking to him and answering his questions (you can check out the screenshots). However, in the midst of these conversations, he was always interested in buying my nfts, but he didn't buy them in tezos, so he repeatedly asked me to go into the world of eth, and I always said that I was studying and thinking about putting my work into more spaces.

However, this morning, after many conversations, Darky out of nowhere became a tezos collector and showed interest in my four works made available on OBJKT, but not enough, he believed that the value of the works was too low and therefore I should increase them, since supposedly I didn't believe much in my work, even asking him to make an offer on the works, he insisted on making me list for 200 tezos already with the intention of tarnishing my record with others (it's in the prints), so I, a beginner artist on the platform, South American, queer, was presented with an opportunity with my work that I love and devote so much care to, I put all my works up for the amount he said they would be worth, I thought he might be a collector looking for more exclusivity and therefore wanted security in keeping that value in the works, I acted on emotion and believed that this person who has been talking to me for days really trusted and liked my work, that's when things changed.

Darky now needed 55 tezos, asking me to send it to a supposed wallet so that he could buy my 4 works immediately. That's when things changed, being a good Brazilian as I am, I understood everything that was going on, so I was extremely frustrated that I could have believed that someone would pay or devote so much attention to my work, that's when you look around and feel cheated, I didn't spend the 55 tezos on his account, I wasn't really ripped off, but the hopelessness of having someone dear share their impressions of my work hurt a lot. I needed my boyfriend to give me the strength to expose and continue my career in the NFT world. WE WILL NOT LET THOSE PEOPLE CONTINUE, I will not let a stone stand in the way of my ambitions and artistic trajectory.

THIS WAY, MY FIRST COLLECTION WILL STAY FOREVER FOR 200 tezos at objkt, FOR MY DREAMS AND FOR WHO I AM. DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHAT YOU SHOULD BE.
