Hours

Hours started out much as it ended up, a driving melodic house tune inspired by my move to the coast of California. I had been working on it here and there for a few years but felt something was missing. I had played a few shows over the years with Zac and thought it might be interesting to have some electric guitar on the track. He came out and recorded the chorus guitar part and I immediately knew this was the missing piece of the sound.Hours was release as a single before the album and the juxtaposition of the desert and ocean landscapes in the cover art laid the groundwork for the imagery I would go on to use for the album cover.
