Mums hold much sentimental meaning for me. My mother planted them in the garden in every house, in every city, in every state we ever lived. A seemingly trivial detail in the grand scheme of the story of my life. But this simple mundane act became a sort of anchor for me. One aspect of my life that remained untouched - changed - tainted. A constant indicator telling where I am - Home - and everything that word means to me...
