Holy Union

Not long ago I stumbled across an interesting article about "The Lost Gospel". The article talked about a Lost book of the Bible that tells about Jesus and Mary Magdalene getting married and having 2 children. Meaning the bloodline of Jesus Christ may have Lived on and that his bloodline did not end at the Cross. I thought about the impact that would have not only on the world but the Universe, and instantly, I was filled with motivation and inspiration, as if an unseen force was wanting me to encapsulate that perspective moment. And, in doing so I wanted to capture and glorify their Holiness, their amazing splendor, shining bright from their glory. The timing of this powerful union is woven together throughout the artwork as different color streams interlock and snake about together to accentuate facial features and other details. With the vulnerbilities of their Union hinted at by the paleness of their complexions which also portrays an exquisite graceful coalition full of vibrance and emotion.
