Ho, ho, ho!

The origin of the Santa Claus myth is thought to date back to Odin, but he took the most important of the Santa Claus symbols from Nimrod: the Christmas tree he carries in his hand. This tree is like both a tree and a staff. Santa Claus or Saint Nicholas is depicted with a scepter in some of his paintings. This is the scepter he carries as "Bishop of Myra"
