While my wife and I were living in Haiti I could predict the minute when the afternoon storms would roll in. I would sit on my back porch and wait for the high winds and heavy rain. One day I noticed the approaching storm was electrically charged with frequent cloud-to-ground lightning. As the storm clouds created wild formations in the sky, the sunset hit the edge of the rain wall illuminating it with orange and yellow tones. The blue storm clouds glowed blue against the contrasting warm colors. This amazing sight was made even more incredible by a bolt in the background.
