HeX Y Chromosomes

Using CMYK & RGB as the foundation for this 66 piece collection, the initial 11 works would serve as the first of a 6 generation experiment. Every 11 pieces that followed, would be made using the 11 prior as a base and given additional amounts of either CMYK or RGB mixed into it to create an entirely new piece. The idea was to imitate what happens with human DNA in our family tree. You are the result of your parents. They, their parents. Whether it be physical traits and/or behavior, parts of them all exist in you. Within each of the 55 pieces that follow the initial 11, exists traits (colors) of all the pieces prior to it. After 5 new iterations, the various works hold the DNA of its past generations all while offering something entirely new and stimulating.
