She was ready to go out and mark a wonderful night in her memory.I tried to portray her beauty as a woman simultaneously her uneasiness in her own skin which was so visible to me at the time.

This portrait of my sister has won the “Patsy Whiting” Award 2020 which was granted to this artwork by The Society of Women Artists (SWA).
