Her Own Sky

I have always admired hummingbirds. They remind me that strength does not always announce itself. Though small and seemingly delicate, they are fiercely independent, resilient, and fearless. As I watched this lone hummingbird suspended in open sky, I found myself reflecting on womanhood, not through likeness but through spirit. This photograph became an homage to the quiet courage and fierce determination to choose one's own path with grace.
