This is a photo manipulation and digital painting, derived from a picture I took of the surreal orange sky out my office window during the worst smoke day in New York City caused by the Canadian wildfires. I thought it fit perfectly within my Hellscape collection because, well, it looked like a Hellscape to me.
Imagine the smog and pollution becomes sentient and casts an unnatural pall over your view, even more so than the jaundiced skies we saw a couple weeks ago. It forms until an all seeing eye judging humanity for the environmental damage it has wrought. That’s Hellscape 4.
