burst_ artwork 60 / ħeaяtbeat: In this other dimensional plane I saw a beating heart of a sort. It looked weird and artificial and I could see all the electrical patterns making it work, as well as the information (/blood) which ran thru it. I remembered an article I’ve read about Distributed Nonblocking Commit Protocols.. “Heartbeat: a heartbeat protocol is employed by each blockchain. Specifically, if a worker node does not receive a reply from the primary node within the heartbeat time, the primary node will be replaced (by another live worker node) and restarted as a worker.“ - Source: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2001.01174.pdf - Pandemic 2020, GIF, 718 × 960
