Hattou Thicket

The forest was enormous, bright, and prospering. Buxus, asp, and pine ruled its canopy, and twinkling lights bursting through their crowns allowed dispersed saplings to claim the soft, rich soils below. Bundled tree limbs drooped from every tree, and a medley of flowers, which claimed quiet corners, added playful elements to the otherwise dark view. A clamor of beastly sounds, most rummaging critters, added life to the forest and drowned out the occasional roar of a large animal trying to scare away predators.
