Hathor

Hathor is an ancient Egyptian goddess represented as a woman with a cow's head. She is considered the primeval goddess from whom all others derive. In this painting, the earth is barren and Hathor is creating new life within her.

Hathor is part of the Transitus collection which reflects the palpable change our global society is experiencing as a result of climate change, the global pandemic and society's resistance from decades of suppression.

There is a change in the air. A transition of letting go of many outdated previous thoughts and beliefs and a renewed courage to make the necessary changes to our society that are so desperately needed.
