Artists usually pay models or conjure in their minds dynamic poses to invoke certain kind of emotions. And here we have Lolo Rodrigo.

Lolo Rodrigo, 64 years old, took risk to travel from Bulacan to Manila to look for opportunities. This was in the height of the pandemic year 2020 and it was hard for everyone to look for a job. He was crying when someone took his photo due to hunger and tiredness.

I wanted to immortalize this exact image of lolo Rodrigo as a reminder of the hardships people below poverty line goes through, not only during catastrophes or pandemics but of everyday life.
