Growing Pleasures

Growing Pleasures is a collection of three hand painted ceramic pots, each paired with a unique digital drawing. The two are meant to work together and represent the pleasure of both personal and artistic growth.

Finding an artistic style and voice that is naturally representative of oneself is a journey. No two journeys are the same, nonetheless seeds must be planted in order to grow. As these seeds grow both the person and the art begin to merge. With maturity and wisdom influencing new artistic ideas, and art practices pushing ideas of one's self. It is a fine balance of an artist's soul.

The more I understand this balance the more I am able to grow.

This collection is a thank you to the time spent learning who I am, what makes me an artist, and what I want to say to the world. Growing will never cease, but I adore finding the pleasure in it all.
