Grim

It is in human nature to fear death. In many ways to cope with this inevitability, the human race tried to personify this natural occurrence, creating the so-called Grim Reaper. Depicted as a cloaked creature carrying a scythe, invoking fear and darkness, it is an image that everyone has in their mind when death is mentioned. This piece plays with that depiction, trying to show the Reaper in the opposite light, bright and gentle, to try and challenge the perception of this phenomena.
