Dmitry Volodin: “The animation shows one pixel under a microscope. At least this is what I think the pixels in my animations and still images look like when you zoom in on them: they are alive!
The loop animation required two runs: one to get to the final frame and one to start with the final frame and to arrive at it again, using the same path. Philosophically, each pixel starts by knowing where it is going, then on its way to that destination completely erases that vision, and then finally arrives at that terminal point, ready to fulfill its destiny again, at least before it needs to change its color on your screen.
Just like the blue/purple palette, the green palette was a little bit darker and more mystical than my usual, but I have learned to embrace its depth and gravity and now see the full beauty of it. I hope you like it too.”
