Last shot of the day and it turned out to be my favourite of the whole shoot. A very strong and cold offshore wind was blowing straight into the camera so getting a 'clean' shot was next to impossible.
A last minute decision to get out into nature after a period of depression was just what I needed. Heading to a remote beach on Aucklands' Wild West coast netted this shot as the last of the day. This beach is one of Aucklands' best kept secrets due to the effort required to get there. Gravel roads and a steep decline means you often have this beach to yourself as in this case. One of the best treatments for my depression is to get out into nature, get the fresh air into my lungs and relax
