"Glitchy Weather " a tribute to Solomon Joseph Solomon's "The Breakfast Table": Key Artistic Elements and Technique:
Conceptual vision:
This work bridges the gap between 19th-century realism and 21st-century digital abstraction and subrealism, using Solomon's composition as an anchor to explore the fragmentation of memory and perception over time. The palimpsest technique invites the viewer to "unearth" layers—from hand-applied pigments to continuous hand-drawn digital animations (the color range and palette of the original canvas)—questioning the permanence of art and existence.
Note: Solomon Joseph Solomon's original work is still on view at London's Ben Uri Gallery, providing a striking contrast to this glitch-driven reimagining.
