Gatekeeper - B/W

Freezing rain coats rural power lines at the edge of a forest during an outage.

There are so many barriers to access, information, connection, power, time. Capturing this moment as the rain coated every inch of my surroundings in a fragile crystalline layer was dazzling. A few moments of creative exploration before emergency preparation.

2016. Nikon D60, 55-200mm Lens.

Photographed in situ, without the use of artificial lighting or staging. Photoshop only used for resizing and greyscale.
