Galactic Toad

The following artwork was created using acrylic paint pouring on canvas, the image was scanned and then manipulated by breaking the file and glitching the original image, then using photo editing software and channel shifting to further manipulate the patterns.

The results created very surreal amphibious like creatures layered on top of one another. I really enjoyed working through the process of this particular piece, because subject was neither planned nor fully controlled, every stage of the image's creation was organic and random, from the paint pouring, to the way the image glitched; the artwork mostly created itself in a very exciting and unique way.

I saw a galactic toad, but the viewer might see other creatures and subjects within the art itself!
