There’s a space between now and then that opens up again and again. A blank space where something happened, sentences spoken, hugs and kisses, shared moments, even disappointments. But time goes on and there’s no trace of them.
Other moments emerge and submerge,
vague notions, distance places, hazy faces
remembered and loved.
Bitter moments and embarrassment,
tragedy and sadness.
All flow together and intertwine creating
who we’ve become.
Black spots on the sun emerge, points of focus made by magnetic forces, deep undercurrents in our subconscious causing memories to surface heartbreaking and pure.
My third drawing in a series where I explore the space on either side of a meridian as I balance my intention to draw each line with my reaction to the previous. Unintended themes emerge as part of the process
