funnel weaver

an American grass spider (successfully) hides while being hunted by a little, black parasitic wasp. the grass spider weaves funnel webs, which are not sticky! they hunt prey by ambushing and paralyzing it.

you can tell the grass spider apart from its look a likes (such as the wolf and hobo spider) by its two prominent hind spinnerets
