This painting represents how a person with mental disorder (in some cases) may internalize mental illness stigma and experience diminished self-esteem and self-efficacy. They see themselves as a failure, unworthy, horrible, ugly, etc.

*Funeralopolis is a song from one of my favorite bands, Electric Wizard. The name stands for the meaning of ‘lifeless, sickness, death, and decay.’
