Fruitless Return

In this piece, I have portrayed the daily struggles of an elderly man working hard in an alley of the downtown streets. In the same painting, I depict the moment he returns home empty-handed at the end of the day. This work reflects the harsh reality for many people in society who, despite all their efforts, end up with nothing to show for it. My aim is to evoke a sense of empathy for this way of life and to highlight the hidden hardships that many endure. Physical painting.
