Graphite clawed into sepia-toned paper, pushed hard enough to bruise the surface. Heavy shadows carved with cross-hatching, each stroke dragging weight across the page.

The portrait keeps the texture rough—like stitched flesh—letting the light break only where the bones refuse to stay.

Every line sinks downward, pulling the face into gravity, giving the entire piece the feel of something resurrected against its will.
