The balance between the two forms represented in the day state refers to the attraction of gravity, this omnipresent force from which all life is organizing itself on earth. The night state deals with the force of gravity. The colored rings converge in the same direction like gravitational fields, simultaneously defining a top and a bottom, a depth and a space. Sunrise state is very abstract. It has a particularly rich and complex texture. Its rendering is of a monochromatic gray while it is composed of a multitude of saturated colors. It looks like waves emanating from a very distant center or converging in an abyss. Sunset set evokes the complexity of the fluids that continuously interact around us. Winds, tides, but also all sorts of invisible forces like gravity or magnetic fields.
