This generative art work is an elaboration of the strange attractor first described by Clifford A. Pickover in goodness who knows when? A long time ago, anyways.
A point jumps around a four dimensional space 800,000,000 times according to four simple equations featuring the sine function which give new X, Y, Z and W co-ordinates depending on the old X, Y, Z and W. The color of each pixel depends on how often it has been visited by the point on its journey.
The whole cloud of points is rotated once in the X,Z plane and twice in the Y,W plane to give the animation.
