"forgot, forgotten" is an animation created by a woman that explores love in its quietest phase: when it stops hurting and begins to fade. The work is constructed as an emotional archive in a state of degradation, where affective memories fragment, repeat, and fail, like corrupted data in an old system. Through a blend of technological yet obsolete aesthetics, the animation presents forgotten love not as an abrupt ending, but as a slow disconnection. Time does not move linearly: it stalls, restarts, and gets lost. At certain moments, the woman blinks, a minimal and almost mechanical gesture that suggests residual life within fading memory. Black, erroneous butterflies appear as a contradictory symbol to the flutter of happiness we feel in our stomachs when we fall in love. In forgot, forgotten, forgetting is not absence, but a ghostly presence. The work raises an intimate and contemporary question: what happens to feelings when we no longer fully remember them, yet they have not completely disappeared?
