Forest Party (2016)

One of the main themes with the Scorpion Dagger GIF project is that I wanted to explore the lives of these painted characters off the canvas on which they were originally painted. Essentially, once their shift at the museum was over, they pop off the paintings, commute home and go about their daily lives.

Forest Party was made a few years after starting the project, with a realization that I had amassed this rich collection of characters that have never really met. In a sense, it was a way for me to celebrate them in a Bosch inspired setting, and officially signal that a Scorpion Dagger universe exists.

Plus, who doesn't like a forest party?
