In folklore of Western Europe peoples, Wild Hunt is a procession of dead that rushes through sky or forest. When a monstrous roar is heard from sky, trees begin to bend and fall in forest, which means Wild Hunt has begun. In Celtic tradition, Druids, who owned secrets of transitions to Lower World, could consciously cause Wild Hunt. A cavalcade of ghostly creatures with a pack of dogs rushes across sky; led by Wild Hunter - he is often identified with Scandinavian god Odin. Among riders there may be lower deities, elves and other mysterious creatures from Other World.
Wild Hunt
Black riders are driving forward, They follow the trail all night long, Their path is shrouded in eternal darkness, Armor flickers under the black moon. Palms clutch blades of emptiness, They might have you in their sights too. Eyes reflect wild passion, Overtake victim and immediately attack. Pack of wolves ahead, a hoarse roar, Hell's dogs rush along road of dreams. Snowstorm whips whistle behind back, Wolf's howl rumbles like thunder. Thunderstorm will spread like sound of horseshoes, Bow down, fool, don't look into Their eyes! But it's too late, you met the leader's gaze, Reality exploded into bloody rain. Writhing in horror, soul burned, But you suddenly woke up from a whistling sound in your ears. You realized yourself sitting on horseback, Thought it was a nightmare inspired by a dream. But then thirst for blood boiled in chest - Living soul, like a beacon, is ahead! Like a beast, you howled and rushed forward, Follow the victim all night long.
