Florence

The female figure in the center symbolizes art in Florence there were many famous artists and sculptors. The name Florence means the word blooming, this girl is holding a bouquet of flowers that grow out of her. The crown symbolizes the The House of Medici. On the left is the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. On the right side there is a flag with the emblem of Florence which is a lily. The crab on the flowers is a reference to the Flood of Florence in 1966.
