florae_anima sculptures seek to capture the essential essence of ejthek's florae_abstracta—a series abstracting the natural beauty of flowers and plant life—and reconstitute it in a artistically tangible way.

using the florae_abstracta series as an input set, a custom machine learning model set was trained, and new artwork was born. selecting a variety of the AI generated outputs, the artist used them to craft unique 3D sculptures that seek to rebirth the inherent life stored in their colors, forms and textures. a bloom blossoming on one side and a 'fingerprint' engraved on the other serve to symbolize the artist's hypothesis that the allure of art's beauty may be in the natural life forces it represents.
