Based on the painting "Flame On. I'm Gone." acrylic and oil pastel on canvas 130x97cm 2021
2020 and 2021 were years largely spent inside consuming podcasts, films, and music. The original painting "Flame On. I'm Gone" is a direct result of this. The female figure is using (not a) flamethrower by the Boring Company. Obviously influenced by Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood scene, this work is also reminiscent of David Hockey's series of pool paintings. It's a 'choose your own adventure' artwork; The characters and events taking place in the scene are all up to the viewer.
