Our concept of First Nation peoples, of roots and belonging, is one that is ingrained within us. Here I have endeavoured to illustrate just one of the theories of how North America's indigenous population crossed by a land bridge from Asia some fifteen thousand years ago. The warrior wears a stylized Chief's headdress of natural materials superimposed over elements of modern highways and architecture.
