The Tetons are a special place to me because they provide two things I adore photographing: reflections and mountains. There's something about them that is so majestic and humbling, yet very inviting.
On this morning, I arrived early, and the peaks remained hidden in darkness. I stood quietly along the Snake River, and found myself in a total sense of calm, watching in awe as the sun slowly painted Mt. Moran in a brilliant array of colors.
It was everything I could have asked for and more.
