The second piece in my 'Waters of Time' collection, Firefall is the climactic finale of the natural phenomenon that occurs only once per year known as Firefall.
I had spent years dreaming of witnessing this river of molten water flowing off the face of El Capitan and finally, everything in life aligned on this day. The moments leading up to this spectacle ranged from driving through a blizzard in the middle of the night, fog swirling in the valley during sunrise, and finally the light display at sunset that brought tears to my eyes.
After experiencing years worth of adventures in Yosemite National Park, I had finally captured my dream photograph of the most breathtaking moment of my life, Firefall.
