Finite Fields

Beginning by photographing floral arrangements, I then wrote an algorithm in Processing to reinterpret the image as a series of virtual threads. To me, the result evokes ideas of landscape, suggesting elements on both the universal and microscopic scales.

In celebration of my son Pip, who was born with a rare genetic deletion called Potocki-Shaffer Syndrome, all proceeds from the sales of this piece will be donated to the Rare Voices Australia charity, working to make positive policy change.
