The artwork is an intricate mixed media piece constructed from a diverse range of materials, including fashion magazines, band-aids, drawings by children under the age of three, handmade guipure, and acrylic paint. Within this piece, multiple narratives emerge, shedding light on the experiences of women across different societies. The band-aids symbolize a painful attempt to shield femininity from the pervasive violence of advertising, media, and cultural restrictions. This work is my heartfelt dedication to the indomitable spirit of women who persistently strive to break free from social constraints and celebrate their cultural identity.
