Fay

In Slavic mythology, there is a myth about fays where they fall in love with young shepherds and they have to keep their relationship secret. If the secret is revealed, the fay will curse anyone that knows and her lover. The poem in the background is telling the story of a shepherd that goes away from home but not telling anyone who is he leaving with.
