In Familiar Stranger series, I am interpreting the motifs & symbols of many great civilizations that thrived in historically rich Anatolia. We still have a lot to discover, learn & get inspired by it. On the other hand, I find it sad and thought-provoking that today we have massive polarization within society. This fragmentation drives me to take a historical perspective on Anatolia and celebrate its heritage.
