I heard "False Flag" on the news recently, which prompted me to research the history of that term. After that, I started this NFT collection of 50 animated flags made from cropped versions of the paintings I have made in the last few years.
My paintings in the past worked with themes around geography/maps/national identity/internet culture, and now I’m thinking about the Metaverse as an unspoiled landscape where everyone is going to need their own individual flag to represent the virtual territories they inhabit.
Instead of being beholden to the flag you've been assigned by your country in the physical world, this collection of NFTs gives you the option to choose from a wide variety of unique NFT flags to represent your virtual world.
I am going to have percentages of the proceeds go to help fund Ukrainian’s who have been displaced by the ongoing war.
