Fall Drop

Summer is a beautiful season but when the leaves start falling and the temperature is cooler we can see change is happening. Autumn is a season of letting things go, a season to renew ourselves and to make a fresh start. In macrophotography, droplets are one of my favorite things to capture. These tiny crystal balls are a magical element. I took this picture lying down on the grass after it had rained, handheld and with natural light which created that beautiful reflection of the grass and the blue sky on the drop. I am including a 12x18 print to express my gratitude to my collector.
