Face value

This artwork started out like most of my others, an experiment in blender and exploration in self. I wanted to inject some currency symbolism into this work as it's sticky/gold bar-like arrangement manifested. I chose a dirty looking gold texture for the sculpture and boxed it in. I'm not a fan of this kind of symbolism in my artworks but I did learn a thing or two about textures, which is a major part of my process; learning new things.
