Euljimaek Ok

Hidden amongst the cramped alleyways of Euljiro in Seoul, South Korea is a small brewery that stays open all night, Euljimaek Ok. It is difficult to find but not easy to miss thanks to its bright pink neon glow.

You can find many young people coming in and out of the brewery and taking photos for their social media pages. For me, the goal was not to grab a beer but to capture cyberpunkish street photography of Seoul in the rain. The neon lights, the women under an umbrella, and the buildings in the back among the dingy alleys create a very dystopian and futuristic vibe, which is what I look for and try to portray with my photography.

Each of my photographs comes with full rights as well as a signed print.
