It was dying to get out. The only problem was that I had no idea it was even there. Sure, I felt it bubbling and screaming, after all, my diet had been horrible for the last 12 years of my life, so I assumed it was just my food trying to escape. I had no idea it was…this. As far back as I can remember, bright colors had always hurt my eyes to look at, so I spent of a lot of my time at the old theater that strictly played black and white movies. Last week it was RKO’s “King Kong”, which I had already seen about 43 times, but there’s a subtle comfort every time I hear Carl Denham observe that “It was beauty killed the beast.” Well, in my case, when that stranger accosted me, pulled back my forehead like the brakes of an old train, and slit my throat with the kitchen knife, it wasn’t like Carl Denham or King Kong at all. Instead, it was beauty that set my beast free. Created By @AlexPardee
