Les Corps Inquiets is a silent, surrealist short film inspired by German Expressionism, French Surrealism, and early experimental cinema. Set in interwar Paris, it follows Isadora, an artist obsessed with restoring fragmented bodies through her creations, reflecting a generation’s struggle for meaning after destruction.
Structured in three chapters—Rebellion, Acceptance, and Transformation—the film explores creation, identity, and legacy through dreamlike visuals, distorted cityscapes, and shifting shadows. AI-generated imperfections echo the fragility of memory and the cyclical nature of art, where no creation stands apart from its past.
Culminating in Isadora’s transcendence into the whispering voice for future generations, Les Corps Inquiets is a poetic meditation on art as a continuum—where destruction leads to rebirth, and every act of creation carries echoes of what came before.
“All creation—artistic, physical, biological—is rooted in shared foundations... Nothing is born from nothing.”
